📖 Introduction

This lesson presents the Ja'fari madhab from an objective scientific perspective, to introduce our Shia brothers and understand their juridical differences, in a spirit of dialogue and rapprochement.

👤 Part 1: Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq

2. His Noble Lineage

Golden chain:

Ja'far al-Sadiq ← Muhammad al-Baqir ← Ali Zayn al-'Abidin ← Al-Husayn ← Ali ibn Abi Talib and Fatima, daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

From his mother's side: His mother Umm Farwa was daughter of al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Siddiq

Result: He combined the lineage of Ali and Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them)!
