📚 Evidence from the Qur'an and Sunnah

From the Noble Qur'an

﴿ And invoke the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening ﴾
[Al-Insān: 25]

﴿ So glorify the praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting ﴾
[Qāf: 39]

﴿ O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance, and exalt Him morning and afternoon ﴾
[Al-Aḥzāb: 41-42]

From the Prophetic Sunnah

According to Abū Hurayrah — may Allah be pleased with him — the Prophet ﷺ said:

« Whoever says: "Lā ilāha illā Allāh waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-ḥamdu wa huwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr" one hundred times a day, it will be equivalent to freeing ten slaves for him, and one hundred good deeds will be written for him, and one hundred bad deeds will be erased from him, and it will be a protection for him from Satan for that day until evening. »
