On a night in the month of Rabî' al-Awwal, in the Year of the Elephant...

Mecca sleeps, and the idols stand silent around the Kaaba...

In a modest house in the quarter of Banû Hâshim, Âmina bint Wahb gives birth to her first child.

But this child is unlike any other...

He is the Seal of the Prophets, the Mercy of Allah to all worlds, the greatest human to ever walk this earth.

"And We have not sent you, except as a mercy to the worlds"

Halîma came on a weak she-donkey, with her husband Al-Hârith and her baby...

All the women took children except the orphan... because the orphan had no money, and payment came from the father!

Decades later, Allah reminds him of this favor:

"Did He not find you an orphan and gave you shelter? And He found you lost and guided you? And He found you poor and made you self-sufficient? So as for the orphan, do not oppress him"

👴 Under 'Abdul-Muttalib's Care

🛡️ The Loving Grandfather

After Âmina's death, 'Abdul-Muttalib took charge of his grandson:

📜 Scene: 'Abdul-Muttalib had a mat in the shade of the Kaaba that no one sat on... except little Muhammad!

His uncles would come to move him aside, but 'Abdul-Muttalib would say: "Leave my son, by Allah he will have a great destiny"

🕯️ Death of 'Abdul-Muttalib

📜 The Farewell: In his final moments, 'Abdul-Muttalib looks at his grandson with tearful eyes...

He calls him: "My son, you are dearer to me than my own children... I have entrusted you to your uncle Abû Tâlib"

Then he closes his eyes... and the child weeps on his grandfather's chest.
