📜 The Complete Story

Scene 1: The Difficult Separation

Abû Tâlib prepared his caravan to travel to Syria...

But young Muhammad clung to his uncle and said: "O my uncle! To whom are you leaving me? I have no father or mother!"

Abû Tâlib's heart softened, and he said: "By Allah, I will take him with me, and we shall never part!"

Scene 2: The Monk Comes Out

The caravan arrived at Busrâ in Syria...

There stood the hermitage of a monk named Bahîrâ (whose real name was Jirjîs/George)...

This monk was learned in the ancient scriptures, knowing the signs of the final Prophet...

He never came out to greet caravans... but this time, he came out himself!

Scene 3: The Cloud

Bahîrâ saw something strange:

A cloud was shading the caravan wherever it went!

When they stopped under a tree, the tree bent down to shade the young boy!

Scene 4: The Invitation to Eat

Bahîrâ prepared food and invited the entire caravan...

They all came except the boy who had stayed to guard the luggage...

Bahîrâ said: "I want no one to be absent"

They said: "Only a young boy is missing"

He said: "Call him!"

❓ Bahîrâ's Questions

When the boy arrived, Bahîrâ observed him closely and asked:

Muhammad interrupted: "Do not ask me by them! By Allah, I have never hated anything as much as I hate them!"

💡 He never prostrated to idols, never swore by them, never ate what was sacrificed to them!
